The sevice was established by the Catholic Education Office to provide support to students with physical and chronic health impairments in Catholic Primary and secondary schools.
Some of the ways the service may be able to provide support include,
  • assistance with modifying curriculum,
  • attending program support groups,
  • assistance with the development of Individual LearningPlans
  • provision of professional learning opportunities to support schools in providing an inclusive curriculum

  • additional assessments to identify learning needs
  • informing schools of the external resources availalable.

NB: Referrals can be made at any time throughout the school year.
